Description
The surface of the carapace is of a shiny smoothness, except for some irregular pitting on the lobules of the anterior portion. The gastric region is subdivided in to five longitudinal lobules by incisions running almost parallel with the limbs of the inverted y shaped median incision. The chelipeds have the upper and outer surface of the wrist nodular and of the hand granular, and the upper surface of the corresponding joints and merus of the legs nodular.
