Description
Size: Float/base can be up to 37 mm long.

Color: Deep blue.

The characteristic blue, asexual, polyp bearing colony with its upright sail, is found floating on the sea surface and may be sampled as the net is at the surface. The chitinous float/ base have a triangular thin sail, set perpendicularly. Left sailing and right sailing forms.
