Description
Size: 2.3 cm.

Color: Cream or chestnut, red-brown between the ribs below the suture, oftern with a red-brown band around the body whorl.

Stoutly ovate and solid, with straight-sided whorls and a wide, flat subsutural ramp, fasciole very thick and wide, surrounding a wide and deep umbilicus, sculpture of widely spaced axial ribs, 6-8 per whorl, becoming serrated where they continue over the shoulders and across the ramp to the suture, ribs crossed by faint spiral striae, outer lip flaring anteriorly, columellar lip slightly reflected over the umbilicus.
