Size: 60-80 mm. by 7-8 mm.

Color: Body pink, gills pale,streaked with brown.

Branchial fan well developed. At the base of the gills four stout, brown, glandular lobes form pads of a very peculiar kind. Body broad and short, bearing between the two divisions of the feet small eyespots, occasionally wanting.
