Size: 20.5 cm.

Color: In alcohol yellowish brown, darker above, more or less silvery below. Fins yellowish, membrane between dorsal spines darkish superiorly.

Height 1.8, 2 in length with caudal. Head 2.6, 3.2 in length with caudal. Eye scarcely longer than snout, 3.3 in head and equal to interorbital space. Sixth dorsal spine less than twice length of third anal spine, about equal to postorbital part of head. Pectorals as long as head without snout, ventrals about equal to eye and snout, 15 abdominal scutes.
