Size: Height 7.80 - 9.10 mm, maximum diameter 12.95 - 15.35 mm, minimum diameter 9.95 - 10.15 mm.

Color: White.

Shell is thick, globosely ovate, deeply umbilicated, spire short; whorls slopingly contracted above, swollen towards base; body whorl slightly oblique; suture scarcely sunken; remmants of fulvous epidermis present; surface spirally linearly grooved; columellar callus strongly developed with a prominent transverse groove in the middle and anteriorly partly covers the umbilicus; aperture oblong-ovate.

Similar species: It closely resembles Eunaticina tener. It differs from it in shell being thick, sculptured with spiral grooves. It is a rare species found in deep waters.
