Size: 80.7-111.8 µm x 47.6-86.9 µm.

Ovoid or elongate in shape. The undulating membrane is long, running from the anterior almost to the posterior where the cytostome lies in a deep pocket. Somatic ciliation is uniform, caudal cilia are present. There is a single ovoid macronucleus. There is a large posterior contractile vacuole. Numeorus trichocysts lie beneath the pellicle.
