Length: 150-600 ┬Ám.

The anterior is wider than the posterior. The posterior is more pointed than rounded. Dorsoventrally flattened. Pre- and post-oral sutures are clearly visible. The oral aperture is small. The macronucleus is large with two accompanying micronulei. There is a single, small contractile vacuole, centrally placed. Trichocysts are numerous and fine.
