Description

Length: 150 ┬Ám

A very common species, flask-shaped. The macronucleus is sausage-shaped, the contractile vacuole posterior and terminal. Described in the contracted state. Many species attributed to the genus Lacrymaria have the same features as L. coronata and have therefore been assigned to the L. coronata group.
