Description
Size: Dimensions 25-40 µm x 15-20.5 µm

Body slender, distinctly ovoid and somewhat asymmetrical when seen in living conditions; ciliation uniform excepting posterior region of the body which lacks cilia but possesses one long caudal cilium; macronucleus spherical; contractile vacuole single and posterior.
