Description
Size: 20-50 mm.

Color: Cream with brown bands. Four to five transverse bands on dorsal side, the fine teeth are purple; the base is uniformly pale yellowish.

Shell is oblong-ovate with more or less blunt extremities; the sides are slightly thickened with callus and finely mottled with sandy grey. The aperture is slightly widened towards the anterior extremity; the teeth are strong, numerous, close-set and are not produced across the bases of the columellar and outer lip.
