Size: Length 10.85-23.68 mm; diameter 7.66-16.45 mm; length of aperture 7.14-14.90 mm; length of spire 5.60-12.00 mm.

Color: White with black tubercles, interior, lip and columella violet, nodules dark brown or black, aperture light violet to purplish black, denticles white.

Ovate, solid, body whorl with five spiral rows of pointed tubercles, two rows on the spire whorls, scaly grooves in the interspaces, and a short, tightly recurved fasciole, outer lip with two prominent peg-like denticles near the centre and up to three smaller denticles anteriorly, columella thickly calloused, with a raised anterior edge and 4-5 small anterior denticles.
