Description
Size : Usually exceeds 50 mm.

Color: Dorsally white or pale reddish-brown with large dark brown spots, and sometimes a reddish longitudinal stripe.

A solid, thick, heavy, inflated shell, up to 13 cm. Dorsum elevated, profusely ornamented with large rounded blackish-brown spots, of variable size, on white base. Basal surface concavely depressed. Aperture anteriorly dialated.
