Description
Color: Brown with pale corallites

Colonies are hemispherical with small, widely spaced corallites raised on mounds that may be of different shapes. Calices average 1 mm diameter. Septa are in two irregular cycles. Coenosteum papillae are short and blunt.

Similar species: Astreopora gracilis, but corallites are smaller and more widely spaced.
