Description
Max. size: 11.0 cm TL

Dorsal spines (total): 7-7, Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9, Anal spines: 2, Anal soft rays: 8. Silvery, deep-bodied, head profile slightly concave. Dark narrow line from angle of opercle to a small spot at caudal base, front and tip of 1st dorsal black in color.

Dioecious, external fertilization, bearers, external brooders, mouthbrooders, distinct pairing during courtship and spawning.
