Max. size: 30.0 cm TL

Color: Light brown, fins yellowish with black margin.

Depth 15.8 - 16.0, head 5.0- 5.8 in standard length. Teeth small, three rows in upper jaw, two rows in lower jaw; an oval patch of short teeth at front of upper jaw and biserial patch on vomer; upper lip with upturn flange; tail slightly longer than body; lateral line pores 56- 59.
Dorsal soft rays (total): 167, Anal soft rays: 110, Vertebrae: 143. Eel like body shape in lateral. Brownish, median fins yellowish with black margin.
