Description
Size: 27 mm

Eyes reniform. Eye stalks depressed, broad distally, reaching upto the middle of the terminal joint of the antennular peduncle, or as long as the antennal peduncle. Chelipeds hairy and similar on both sides. Inner lower border of merus, inner upper borders of merus, carpus, propodus and dactylus of both the chelipeds with conspicuous claw-shaped spines. Outer surface of these joints with distinct spines arranged in 3 or 4 longitudinal rows. Second and third legs look alike on both sides. Upper border of carpus and propodus with claw-shaped spines which continue less conspicuously on dactylus. Outer surface of the distal ends of dactylii thickly setose.
