Description
Color: Dark brown, lighter below.
Body elonagte with cycloid scales, depth 6-7.5 in total length, head 4.3-5 in total length. Teeth small, in two rows in upper jaw. First dorsal fin concave, in female very reduced to absent. First ray in male filiform. Eyes prominent close together. Ventral fin nearly separate, basal membrane absent. Muscular pectoral fin base used as locomotory organ.
