Size: 20-69 mm.

Rostrum with 7-11 dorsal teeth (1 or 2 post orbital) and 4 to 8 ventral teeth, upper margin with a gap between proximal series of 6-9 teeth and distal 1 or 2 subterminal teeth, sometimes the gap interrupted by 1 or 2 teeth; equal to or slightly surpassing the antennal scale, tilted up distally. Second chelipeds slender, equal or 1/3 longer than body length with chela shorter than carpus. Second pleopod of male with non-hairy, slender appendix masculina reaching the tip of endopod.
