Size: 4.7 cm.

Color: Orange brown to tan with white blotches or streaks, some shells with white and brown spots on the cords, aperture white, sometimes with an orange stain.

Fusiform, whorls only slightly inflated, early spire whorls with three spiral cords and pitted interspaces, body whorl with up to 37 primary and secondary spiral cords that may be of equal size, interspaces with short, strong axial riblets and deep grooves between.
