Size: 3 cm.

Color: Cream or white, greenish brown bands in the interspaces, columella cream, interior brown.

Elongate-ovate, protoconch whorls finely carinate, axial ribs slender, sometimes slightly arcuate, separated from sutural nodules by a shallow channel, subangulate below the suture and obsolete on the body whorl, interspaces smooth, spiral cords developed only on the base, outer lip varixed and denticulate, lirate within, columella with up to seven anterior denticles, callus thick, spreading.
