Color: Shell is white, marked with dark brown spots.

Shell small, broadly spindle-shaped with a moderately short spire and narrow, elongate aperture slightly flexed in the middle; whorls are angularly shouldered below the suture; the body whorl is traversed by fine, close-set spiral grooves which are strong and well marked towards the base. The outer lip is thick, straight and runs more or less parallel to the columellar border; the upper end of the outer lip stands slightly out beyond the general level of the spire owing to the angulation of the body whorl at this part; the inner surface of the outer lip is strongly denticulated; columella lip is slightly arched.
