Size: 17-17.5 cm

Body compressed with a pointed snout. Mouth is large. Villiform teeth on jaws. The outer row of teeth is slightly enlarged in both jaws. Scales are large. Lateral line has 25 scales, predorsal has 15 scales.

Breeds in rainy season.
