Description
Color: Shell is whitish with a slight creamy brown tinge.

Shell is fairly thick, rounded and about as high as long. Umbo is strongly bent towards and beak-like. The lunule deeply depressed and heart-shaped and the shoulder anterior to the lunule is prominently developed; hind margin of the shell is markedly angular in the middle; shell surface is finely and concentrically striated, the striae being coarser and more strongly raised towards the umbo, rendering this surface almost glossy. Hinge is very thick and hinge teeth are well developed and moderately diverging. Angle between the posterior cardinal teeth and the lunule is approximately right angle. the area of the ligament is elongated and sharply depressed.
