Description
Size: Arm length to 4 cm, disc diameter to 5 mm.

Color: Disc dark uniformly blue; arms blue or blue green with fine characteristic median lines alternating dark blue and white, which extend on the aboral side of the disc between the radial shields; arm spines glassy, reddish and often with a dark line, ventrally white overall. Radial shields naked. Aboral arm plates as wide as long, distal edge convex, median light colored longitudinal line bordered by darker areas on either side and two more lighter lines bordered by darker areas on either side.

Disc scales covered by scattered spinelets. Oral arm plates broader than long, distal side convex. Six to eighth arm spines, no more than 3-4 times the length of the segment, second one from above the longest.
