Class: Bivalvia

Shell is triangular with a broad dorsal margin. Anterior lobe varies in size and in ridges. Anterior portion of the disc well developed with a narrow median and posterior portion. Pallets are large, heavy, calcareous and almost triangular in shape. The blade has flat inner face with convex outer face. Outer margin of the blade u-shaped, inner margin straight or slightly curved.
