Size: 127 - 132 mm

Color: Golden brown above silvery below, a black blotch at the beginning of the lateral line, dorsal and caudal fin dusky, anal fin yellow, free pectoral fin rays white.

Body depth 3.2 - 3.3, head 3.0-3.1 in SL, eye 3.7-3.8 in head length. Upper pectoral fin rays mostly branched, only one free pectoral fin ray extends beyond pectoral fin tip, half way through pelvic fin.
