Size: Height 9.85 mm, maximum diameter 17.85 mm, minimum diameter 10.30 mm.

Color: Surface color white with interrupted brown bands; umbilical area dark chestnut.

Shell is thin, quadrangularly ovate, spire depressed; whorls longitudinally plicately striated, striae again intersected by fine spirally impressed striae; body whorl very large and inflated. Aperture large and squarely ovate. Columella broadly reflected back and almost covers the umbilicus.
