Description
Size: 6 cm high, 7 cm wide.

Color: Grey, cream or rose-tinted base, the crowded cords and spines are purple-black or purple-rose so that color may dominate.

Spire flat, early whorls, sharply angulate at the shoulders, each with six angulate corners, body whorl rounded, sometimes only loosely attached at the suture, or even quite separate toward the lip, aperture round, peristome more or less entire, often produced anteriorly, silvery smooth within, sculptured with roughly squamose spiral cords and about six spiral rows of hollow spines, the shoulder row often long and curved.
