Description
Size: 125-245 mm

Color: Dark brown with small white spots smaller than interspaces between them all over head, body, vertical fins and basal half of pectoral; margin of fins pale to light brownish.

Head 2.9-3.2 in standard length, 3.8-4.0 in total length. Eye diameter 5.6-6.1 in head, 2.4-2.8 in snout and 3.4-3.7 in somewhat convex interorbital space. Nasal tentacle bifid. Pectoral fin 2.4-2.8 in head. Longest dorsal ray 2.3-2.5 in head and longest anal ray 2.4-2.8 in head.
Number of spines and rays in the dorsal fin: i, 11-12; number of spines and rays in the anal fin: i, 11-12; number of rays in the pectoral fin: ii, 15-16.
