Size: Length 5 mm by 1.5 mm

Color: Dark red or black

Body globular, elytra 15 pairs, almost circular, translucent, with entire margin, smooth surface with delicate veins, very small chitinous tubercles. Notosetae broad, curved, distally serrated. Neurosetae numerous, distally with fine serrations. Dorsal setae broad, slightly curved with a rather blunt apex and serrations near the tip. Ventral setae numerous, with apex rather faintly serrated near the tip not bearing recognizable spines; upper setae with a very long serrated region, a short incurved tip and projecting tooth just under it. Prostomium bilobed, with acute frontal peaks. 4 very small eyes. Lateral tentacles very minute and slender.
