Description
Color: Polyps are a mass of grey or brown tantacles when extended, the surrounding tissue is brown

Colonies are submassive, usually lobed, and may be large. Corallites are deep, with short septa.

Similar species: Goniopora stutchburyi, which has a similar growth-form and coloration but polyps are much smaller.
