Soft dorsal rounded, the median rays longest, but not much longer than last spine, posterior rays about two thirds of median ones. Origin of anal below last dorsal spine. First anal spine minute, the third longest, but less than the last dorsal spine. Soft anal similar to soft dorsal, but somewhat lower. Pectorals equal to snout and eye. Ventrals equal to snout. Caudal lunate. Anal and pelvic fins white. Dorsal spines (total): 9 - 9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 28 - 30; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 23 - 26.
