Length: 2.5-22.7 mm; Aperture length: 1.2-13.5 mm
Width: 0.2-8.4 mm.

Color: The shell color varies from white to brown and the teeth are white; light purple with white band along the outer lip.

The shell is obliquely triangular in profile with seven to ten whorls. The inner lip is strongly plicate, the outer lip sub-reflexed. Three teeth in the inner lip are somewhat twisted and there are 3-5 small teeth in the outer lip. The aperture is obliquely square and the operculum is absent. The sutures are not deep. The whorls have growth lines running from top to bottom i.e. from the apical to basal end of each whorl.
