Description
Corallum cup shaped with a narrow base of attachment. Corallites confined to the inner side of the cup. Corallites arranged in wavy concentric row, 2-2.5 mm in diameter, a little broader at the base than at the top, adjacent ones within a row almost touching to 2 mm apart. Corallites levelled or slightly projecting (1mm). Septa 16-18, rarely more projecting very little into the fossa, steeply descending, edges dentate, side granular, all septa join the columella. Columella, a compressed lamella. Surface with close set spines. Underside of the cup with very well developed ridges and furrow system.
