Description
Color: Living corals brown with white axis.

Corallum coymbose; main branches spreading, undergoing fusion repeatedly, dividing underside with few branchlets. Upper branchlets generally in groups of 3-4 and 4-8 mm thick, 4-5 mm long. Axial corallites average 1.5 mm in diameter, slightly exsert, with well developed primary septa. Radial corallites nariform of tubular; labellate 2.5-3 mm in length; spreading, opening gutter shaped or crescent shaped wall thickend, some are proliferous. Septa 6. All radials are immersed at the lower part of the branchlets. It differs from Acropora cytherea in the form of the radials.
