Size: 8 cm.

Color: White with 4-7 rows of scarlet blotches on the body whorl, 2-3 rows of spots on the spire whorls, aperture yellowish, columella white.

Elongate-ovate to cylindrical, 8-10 flat-sided whorls with prominent, close-set coronations on angulate, telescoped shoulders, aperture length greater or less than spire height, spire whorls with 2-3 spiral rows of deep pits, penultimate and body whorls usually smooth but sometimes also with rows of pits, columella calloused, with 4-5 folds.
