Size: Length 9.95-15.56 mm; diameter 4.95-9.05 mm.

Color: Cream with brown spiral bands, outer lip white, aperture white with a purplish band inside.

Shell small, ovately conical, spire acute and longer than the aperture; outer lip with a varix externally and with four to six elongated denticles on the interior, columellar callus strongly laminated on the body whorl, with four to six denticles anteriorly; spiral cords absent below suture; body whorl with faint bands on upper part only. Sculptured with widely spaced axial ribs, 12 to 13 on the penultimate whorl, six to eight on the body whorl, on the latter 12 to 15 overriding spiral cords, obsolete on the dorsum, remains of nodules just below the suture.
