Description
Size: Length 10.65-56.50 mm; diameter 5.28-31.35 mm; length of aperture 7.70-41.55 mm; length of spire 3.61-19.76 mm.

Color: Red-brown with an irregular and poorly defined central band of connected whitish triangular patches and less prominent bands anteriorly and posteriorly, interior cream, lip edge and columella brown.

Surface shiny but sculptured with numerous, finely beaded spiral cords. Shell ovately oblong, spire short, acute, consists of 5 whorls slightly rounded, body whorl oblong, aperture medium, ovate, outer lip margin finely crenulate without denticles or lirations inside. Columella smooth with fold anteriorly. Parietal ridge strong posteriorly. Anal sulcus open, deep inverted 'V' shaped, margined by ridges, canal short, broad, open.
