Size: Length 9.85-25.58 mm; diameter 6.32-16.58 mm; height of aperture 5.82-15.56 mm; height of spire 5.45-12.15 mm.

Color: White to grey with black or brown axial streaks or blotches, interior, lip and columella violet; white with chestnut brown on axial ribs, prominent, spiral.

Elongately biconical with pointed ends, sculptured with axial ribs crossed by scabrous spiral cords, 2-3 prominent cords on the body whorl producing pointed nodules where they cross the axials, outer lip with 4-5 evenly spaced and subequal denticles although the posterrior denticle may be large, columella with 3-4 small denticles.
