Description
Size: Length 11.60-23.60 mm; height of aperture 6.55-12.85 mm; height of spire 5.52-13.35 mm

Color: Chocolate brown, nodules dark brown, aperture light violet, margin dark brown with a prominent white band leading interior in middle, coincides with a white band outside on body.

Shell elongately fusoid, spire high, acute, consists of 6 angulated whorls. Body whorl large, fusoid, suture impressed. Aperture narrowly elongate, anal sulcus deep ā€˜Uā€™ shape, outer lip thick, margin crenulate, interior denticulate with 5 teeth, inner lip smooth, adherent posteriorly, detach and erect anteriorly, 3-4 faint plicae above canal. Canal short open broad. Sculpture consists of 8-9 axial ribs, nodulose, spiral sculpture of scabrous cords, 5-6 numbers in between nodular rows on body, single prominent row of nodules on spiral whorls with scabrous cords on either side; nodules bisected.
