Description
Size: Length 12.80-31.22 mm; diameter 8.55-16.50 mm; length of aperture 8.60-18.45 mm; length of spire 6.00-15.60 mm.

Color: Generally white sometimes tubercles exhibit orange color, aperture white, light orange or cream interior.

Shell generally moderate in size, ovately elongate, spire high, acute, consists of 5 rounded whorls. Body whorl large, ovate, suture impressed, aperture narrowly ovate, anal sulcus deep ā€˜Uā€™ shape. Outer lip thick, margin crenulate, interior denticulate with 6 teeth, inner lip adherent, smooth, posteriorly slightly detached, anteriorly 3 plicae above canal. Canal short, open; sculpture consists of 4-5 rows of rounded tubercles, with 2-3 scabrous spiral ridges in between tubercular rows, sometimes tubercles also traversed by cords on body, penultimate whorl with single row of tubercles.
