Size: 11cm.

Color: Exterior mottled red, inner lip red, lirae paler, outer lip red, lirae paler, outer lip red, nodules pink or white.

Body whorl with three major spiral ribs bearing rounded nodules and with weak secondary, finely nodulose cords in the interspaces, giving an overall evenly nodulose appearance, anterior canal short, reflected to the right, outer lip narrowly flaring, bearing rows of 12-14 small nodules on its inner edge and a second row of elongate ridges deeper within the aperture, parietal and columellar pad lirate and nodulose.
