Description
Size: Length 7.56-23.4 mm; diameter 7.05-17.6 mm.

Color: White with 14-16 spiral rows of reddish brown spots which may be spirally elongate, columella and funicle white, operculum not seen by this author.

Rather thin with a relatively tall spire and deeply impressed suture, parietal callus weak or lacking, umbilicus very narrow, partly filled by a small funicle.

The egg masses are laid in typical 'sand collars', which are reported to be common during premonsoon period.
