Size: 3 cm.

Color: White to yellow, usually with a brown subsutural band and often another round the periphery of the body whorl, nodes and ribs usually white.

Elongately fusiform, pagoda-like, protoconch comprising 2½ smooth whorls, anterior canal long, tubular, straight or slightly oblique, posterior canal small but well defined by a parietal tooth, base deeply excavated, demarcated by a prominent spiral rib around the periphery, whorls slightly convex, sculptured with axial ridges (about 10per whorl) which may be roughly nodulose, crossed by 0-4 thin spiral cords, columella concave, with a narrow callus.
