Anterior nectophore

Description
In the polygastric phase there are five serrated ridges on the anterior nectophore, which is approximately 5 mm in height and 1.6 mm wide. The hydroecium is deep and the somatocyst is club shaped and approximately half the length of the nectosac. The basal lamella is deeply indented. There are 3 ostial teeth of the same size. A posterior nectophore does not develop.

Eudoxid phase: Total length about 8.5 mm; bract - 3.75 X 1.8 mm; special nectophore - 4.75 X 2 mm. Neck-shield as long as head piece, extending down to half of special nectophore. Phyllocyst long, thick and finger-shaped with oil globule.

Special nectophore articulates with bract at an angle of 45° to long axis; pedicular canal horizontal, entering nectosac at a point below apex of nectosac. Each eudoxid with gonophores of one sex only; gonophores 5-6 number sac-like devoid of medusoid umbrella.
