Description
Max. size: 9.0 cm TL

Color: Greenish with dull white on flanks and belly.

Body elongate and compressed posteriorly. Eyes large, 3.3 times in head length. Mouth terminal. Anal fin almost square shaped. Pelvic fin small without any elongated ray. 30-34 scales in longitudinal series.

Dioecious, external fertilization, nonguarders of eggs. A perennial breeder, both in fresh and brackish waters, particularly from November to March.
