Size: up to 25 mm in height

Color: Cream, ornamented with reddish brown lines, a narrow white band in the centre.

Shell small, thick and solid, broadly biconic, spire highly elevated and pointed, protoconch of two whorls, rounded at the shoulder. Aperture narrow and elongate almost reaching up to the shoulder of the body whorl, outer lip thick with incurved margin, with denticulations on the interior, columella straight, with thin callus and smooth interior. Surface smooth except for six to eight strong spiral ridges at the base.
