Description
Size: 7cms in length.

Color: yellowish-green superiorly, a silvery stripe along the side, and abdomen is silvery. Upper caudal lobe is with a bluish posterior edge.

Abdominal profile of the fish is more convex than the dorsal profile. Lower jaw is longer than the upper jaw. The maxilla reaches to below the front edge or first one third of the orbit. Teeth are minute and deciduous in both jaws. Dorsal fin of the fish commences slightly anterior to the origin of the ventral fin and rather deeply forked.
