Description
Color: Brownish grey marbled all over with arborescent dark.

Eyes are small. Gill-opening is wider than the eye. Anterior nasal tubes are short, the posterior nostrils are with a raised adge in adults. Teeth of the fish are pointed, placed in the band in either jaw. The inner row is larger with no large canines. Vomer is in a single row, the anterior of which are enlarged. Fins are rudimentary. Vertical fins only exist round the end of the tail.
